The Church of Greater Lansing FOOD DROP

At Holt High School
You won't want to miss this fun, fast-paced event. The goal of this project is to be the hands, feet and voice of Christ to nearly 3,000 families in need throughout the Greater Lansing Area. As we deliver food boxes, we'll offer a prayer of blessing in a gentle and respectful way and leave an invitation to visit one of the participating churches. We trust that people will see God's love working through us and He will open opportunities for us to tell them about Christ! There are 3,300 requests for food boxes. This is the highest number of requests we’ve ever received! That means we need over 1,500 delivery teams to get the food to these families and need 993 additional families to be sponsored with a food box for event day. We believe God is able to provide, but he does so through His people. Would you be willing to serve and/or sponsor a box?

Dr. Ron Blake, Indianapolis Superintendant of the Church of the Nazarene.
Worship will be led by Rev. Doug Irving. Make plans to attend these inspiring meetings.
CONCERT FUNDRAISER

FOOD MOVERS MISSION PROJECT
The Board of Missions invites you to bring anything edible, as long as it is non-perishable, to the giant Campbell’s Soup can under the stairs near the Narthex. This will help supply needed food for our community.

Are there ever times you feel alone? Would you like someone to pray with you... to listen to you... to just sit with you? Have you ever felt that, with just a little encouragement, you could carry on? God has gifted certain unique persons in our congregation to be such a friend. Responding to the Holy Spirit’s call, these individuals have gone through over 50 hours of training. They have studied, discussed and prepared themselves to be Stephen Ministers. The ministry provides confidential guidance and a person who will pray for you and with you. Both men and women have made themselves available and have prepared for this ministry.
